This class is designed to introduce you to basic paddling skills and water safety. If you don't own a kayak and want to get more information to make a purchase or want to improve you skills for renting, this is the class you need.

Introduction To Kayak is designed to be a course on entry-level paddling techniques and safety. This class is more in depth than the Quick Start Your Kayak class and provides more time for practicing strokes, maneuvers, and rescues.

Kayak Safety and Rescue
This class is for those that want to take their paddling to the next level. Learn the various ways to reenter your kayak and how to assist those in trouble. We will show you how and give you plenty of opportunity to practise. This class is taught wih a short  class room session followed by on the water training & practice. These are skills that every paddler should know. Whether you paddle on a river or lake, you should know how to help yourself or assist in a recovery.  We will also practise the various towing scenarios and help you to know about the different gear you will need. Class come with a discount on your purchases of the safety and rescue gear for the class.

Basic Kayak Navigation
This class will take the mystery out of navigation. We will supply all you need to know where you are and how to get where your going. After having taught orienteering for more than 20 years we will boil it down to basics and present the material in a straight forward simplified manner. This includes class materials and textbook.
