kayak purchase - 2007/12/28 13:01 thinking of buying a gulfstream by current design. kinda getting bored with my liquid logic stingray. any input would be great [b]

Re:kayak purchase - 2008/01/06 04:16 I'd have to agree with Griffin800 that the Gulfstream by Current Design is a great boat, even though I've never done more than a quick test paddle with it. The Gulfstream is certainly a departure from the Stingray by Liquid Logic that you currently own.

As Griffin800 stated, a lot depends on what you expect of the kayak and how you will use it. A kayak is also kind of like clothing in that fit is very important. As long as the Gulfstream is a good physical fit for your height and weight, and as long as it is appropriate for the type of paddling you will be using it for; it should be a great boat that you will enjoy for many years to come.

Re:kayak purchase - 2008/01/09 12:22 thanks for the input guys, i am sorry i was vague on what i want to do with the yak, well i want to be able to roll it, go on weekend camping trips with it, get out on bigger water, be able to "play" with the boat [b]
