Payment in full, trip registration form, health statement, liability release, and registration/cancellation policy acknowledgement must all be received by Paddle and Trail, ltd by the close of the last business day preceding the tour. Paddle and Trail, ltd staff are unable to take payment at the tour location. Copies of the paperwork must remain at the store, therefore Paddle and Trail, ltd staff are unable to take paperwork at the tour location. You will not be able to participate in a tour unless you comply with the above requirement. The store will be open for last minute purchases before you leave but, for the sake of expedience we ask you make every effort to acquire all your gear before the day you leave.

Cancellation

Because we incur certain pre-trip expenses, and high demand for our Venture Weekends, Multi-day tours, and the Women on Water programs, the following policy will apply if you must cancel or change your reservation:

¤More than 14 business days before the trip begins, we will issue a refund less a 20% handling fee, or you may transfer to another equivalent program with no penalty.

¤Between 2 and 14 business days before the trip begins, we will issue a refund of 50% or you may transfer to an equivalent program with a 15% fee.

¤If you cancel within 2 business days of the trip date, no refund is possible. A 30% fee will be assessed for transfer to another clinic or trip. If you do not show up or if you leave the group once the program has begun, no refund or transfer is possible.

¤We will allow you to find a replacment person(s) for your trip provided they are qualified to be on the tour. Contact Paddle and Trail, ltd to make the necessary arrangements.

Paddle and Trail, ltd strongly recommends that clients obtain trip cancellation insurance. Our staff will provide information on available insurance on request or you may follow the link in the menu to Travelguard. Application for such insurance is the responsibility of the client.

¤In the case of a transfer, registration for the new program is not confirmed until payment of the transfer fee has been received.

¤Monies held for transfer on tours or other programs are forfeit to Paddle and Trail, ltd at the end of the summer season, September 30 unless written arrangements are made before that date for credit toward the following season or another Paddle and Trail, ltd program.

¤ These programs run rain or shine. In the event that dangerous weather forces Paddle and Trail, ltd is forced to cancel the program, we will refund or transfer you without penalty.
